Our client is seeking to recruit a sourcing manager to be responsible for managing the media category across the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the sourcing and ongoing management of the media category at a regional level, working in close collaboration with the Marketing Global Category Manager for media, purchasing, legal, wider Marketing EMEA team and European Cluster level Media stakeholders.
Main Responsibility Area
Responsible for sourcing expertise and execution in the area of media, monitors supplier performance and creates development plans. Responsible for contacting and negotiating prices and service levels.
Responsibility for providing input into the Global Media strategy creation and implementation. Develops and manages supplier relationships in own area. Provides technical Media sourcing leadership for the wider Marketing EMEA team and gets involved in task forces within specialised media or related process areas.

Key Tasks
Contributes to and may lead specific elements of strategy creation for media working closely with the Global Category Manager of Media. Implements Marketing Global Media category strategy. Implements Sourcing Process and related tools by engaging stakeholders. Provides sourcing services for customer projects in sourcing, agreement making, fact based price negotiation, supplier base management and development. May lead supplier relationship team and drive relationship development. Contributes to process and tools development. Ensures that operational and transactional aspects are embedded in the contracts. Provides information and guidelines to purchasing team about the content of the agreements.

Qualifications
Individual Portfolio. Typically 8-12 years relevant experience. Recognised expert in their field (depth & breadth). Degree.
