Our client is the acknowledged leader of geographic location products and services in the UK. Their customer base ranges from local authorities to the utility, telecoms, insurance, retail, transport and personal navigation industries, as well as individual consumers. They currently wish to recruit a Senior Product Manager to take control of their flagship products.
The Job
The portfolio of products sits within a highly competitive and fast moving market and you will be responsible for maintaining and increasing market share. Leading a team of product and technical managers you will develop the portfolio lifecycle strategy to maximize revenue whilst enhancing customer satisfaction levels. Naturally this will involve working across the business with the Propositions Team, the Marketing Communications Team and the Technology Team, sharing knowledge and skills so that business opportunities are indentified and revenues maximised.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have worked within, or been a customer of, the mapping / geo-location / location intelligence industry. Certainly we are looking for experience of product and lifecycle management experience underpinned by solid generalist marketing skills. The role is ideal for someone working in a number 2 capacity and looking for an opportunity to rise to senior manager level.
