One of the UK's leading managed application hosting company is looking for a product manager. The product manager is required due to the continued success and growth of our client. The product manager will join the marketing team. Reporting to the Chief Solutions Officer you will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritising product and client requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and client satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals

Role:

· Monitoring the IT Services market and our identified competitors to understand their positioning and capabilities

· Gathering, interpreting and using market research data for market, technology and competitor trends.

· Market sizing for new and existing Attenda managed services products based on other industry data (e.g. server shipments, IT spending by sector)

· Gathers new product ideas and evaluates their potential and practicality.

· Defining, scoping and understanding the product features and benefits necessary to introduce and maintain successful products and services

· Lifecycle management of a specific set of propositions, products and technology components

· Developing product positioning and messaging

· Launching to the market and our sales teams

· Defining cost structure, pricing model

· Understanding and comparing competitive products, features sets and pricing models

Monitors the success and deliver of the products including proposals, quotations, pricing, deployment and ongoing delivery.

Person:

· A sound knowledge of the IT Services and Outsourcing market

· Demonstrable track record in Product Management, or related work experience

· Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

· Technical background and or understanding

· Ability to define the product strategy and roadmap

· Ability to proactively engage clients & partners

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to deliver Market & Product Requirement Documents with prioritised features and corresponding justification

· Strong presentation skills both to small and larger groups
