Role summary: To manage and supervise the activities of the department, proposing and developing targets which will ensure that business meets internal and external requirements. Accountabilities: Prepares a departmental budget, identifying operational and personnel requirements to achieve departmental objectives Assists in drafting policy statements within own sphere of expertise Communicates and interprets work procedures and policies to staff ensuring their compliance Identifies to the business any external requirements, which could have an impact on business, and suggest specific functions in order to minimise any risk of non-compliance. Communicates with other departments
to resolve problems and expedite work Developing new business relationships and generating new income to agreed targets Develops and maintains awareness of developments in telecommunications industry in order to recommend best practice. Manages functional projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, in budget and to the required quality standards.
