In order to maintain a competitive edge within this highly aggressive market place, they now seek to recruit a proven Production Manager, capable of delivering sustainable market growth through operational effectiveness.

The Role Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for all elements of production, assembly and product release. Your remit is to drive and increase business performance, creating sustainability through the establishment of a culture of continuous improvement. Championing Best Practice in world class manufacturing standards, you will develop excellence through benchmarking process performance, creating robust operating procedures and a right first time ethic throughout. Working as a leading member of a dynamic UK management team, the prime measure of success will be your ability to formulate and execute the strategic operational plan in line with commercial activity.

The Requirements: Ideally of graduate calibre within an engineering/electronics or allied discipline, you will have a demonstrable track record of hands-on operational management within an assembly based manufacturing environment. A tough minded and highly experienced change agent, possessing a demonstrable track record of delivering operational excellence through process re-engineering, cultural alignment and continuous improvement. You will have an in-depth understanding and working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and techniques (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, TPM and Six Sigma) and possess strong leadership and motivational skills.
