Our client is one of the largest companies in the Republic of Azerbaijan with a wide range of business activities. At present we are recruiting a Project Manager for its Construction and Property business unit which is one of its more dynamic and emerging business activities boasting 600 employees and a magnitude of projects (retail, commercial properties and residential). This Construction and Property business has currently more than 9.5 million square feet in development and plans to invest in additional mixed-used projects and has ongoing joint ventures with Strabag and several other internationally known contractors.
To support this strong development, we are looking for a leading Project Manager. Specific tasks and responsibilities include:
Overall management, control, coordination and integration of assigned projects
Coordination, development and management of project management plans schedules and budgets
Development and management of project scopes to ensure customer requirements and expectations being met
Plan and schedule accomplishment of design, appropriate reviews and approvals of the project design. Obtain required data and criteria, resolve problems which arise, analyze design costs and prepare reports and correspondence
Administer and supervise Architect Engineer contracts for design projects including preparation of contracts, change orders, Government estimates, and coordination of reviews, acceptance of the completed work and payment
Communication of project status and issues with the customer and all stakeholders (project delivery team)
Development and maintenance of project management information systems and preparation or delivery of presentations and routine briefings on the status of assigned projects
In terms of profile; we are looking for a senior construction professional with substantial experience in retail, residential, commercial projects and associated civil engineering works.
With a degree in Engineering and extensive experience acquired in a well established international contractor, the candidate should possess strong technical, communication and organizational skills coupled with robust leadership qualities to deal with a demanding complex and diverse workload. An English native speaker that has CIS, Central Asia and or Eastern Europe delivery experience would be highly desirable.
