Our client is one of the largest community services providers in England and employs 3,200 staff. It provides a range of predominantly healthcare services for adults, children, families and people with learning disabilities 35 specific services are offered.
Main Responsibilities:
The APO assessment project manager would be responsible for the following:
Confirm the overall approach the organisation would need to take to become an APO
Assess key areas/functions of the organisation against defined assessment criteria to determine readiness to complete the transition
Define actions/steps the organisation would need to take to comply with criteria, together with an implementation plan to complete the transition
Determine costs and develop an overall budget to carry out the implementation work
Where possible, ensure the organisation benefits from the experience and learning of other organisations (such as the pilot APOs)
Manage stakeholders so they are informed of progress and any issues.
