Our client is a world leading international Fortune 500 organisation whose portfolio of products and services comprises a mix of consultancy, software, hardware and managed service offerings. From these they create tailored solutions that enable corporate businesses in the UK and Europe to manage or outsource the management of their business critical document management and mailing processes. They have an international and blue chip client base, and have a variety of processes that are involved within the sales cycle, especially arising through their expansion throughout Europe, with a turnover measured in Billions. They are looking for a professional Project Manager capable of analysing these sales cycle processes, and recommending new and improved processes, and then managing the implementation of the new and improved processes.

Working within the European Shared Services Centre, based in the UK, the role includes:
• Understand and define the business objectives of the Sales Cycle, ensuring that the scope fully reflects the activities necessary for the effective and efficient running of that process.
• Ensure that business documentation reflects current process requirements.
• Establish KPIs and other measurement tools for monitoring the process.
• Ensure all stakeholders are fully aware of their process obligations.

    • It will be necessary to influence, inform and nudge a plethora of stakeholders to implement changes and new approaches to the process, this includes certain Outsourced third parties involved in the Purchase Cycle, as well as pan-European business units.
• Ensure that the process and all improvements are defined and documented.
• Communicate and bring on board all stakeholders with new and improved processes.
• Project manage the implementation of new end to end processes.
• Manage the relationship with any third parties involved with process change. This includes any System/IT improvements.

This is not a technical role; however, we need a commercial individual capable of looking at the Sales Cycle process, and understanding the requirements from both the business and customer view point. Project management skills are important, as is having experience of working within large corporates on BPR. Having experience of possessing influence without authority, involving cross functioning groups to assist and buy in to the process change, would be useful. Experience of or possession of Process/Change qualification or training would be useful, such as Six Sigma. The company uses SAP, so a working knowledge would be useful. Candidates need to be capable of communicating and influencing at a senior level within large corporate or public sector organisation. This is not a one off project as there are many pan-European processes that require constant updating and attention, so this would be a good move for a career minded individual.
