Working for a global telecommunications network software vendor, the Project Manager / Telco Software Implementation PM / Program Manager role involves managing implementations and integration of enterprise telco network performance management software for large global mobile network operators.
The Project Manager / Telco Software Implementation PM / Program Manager will manage the full implementation project lifecycle from requirement gathering to implementation and testing within time, cost and quality standards; manage project risk; plan and deliver complex software integration projects; report of project progress and status internally, to customers and stakeholders; manage escalations, change controls and risks across all levels and parties; be responsible for project budgets and PandL; manage relationships with clients, integrators, partners, suppliers and customer teams and help to implement, refine and improve structure and process and help to create quality standards and documentation. The role may involve a small amount of pre-sales work but most of the work involves post-sales delivery. Implementations last from 3-6 months and the role involves some European travel, usually short trips.
Candidates must have managed complex software implementation and integration projects in the mobile telecommunications sector; have experience in a customer/client facing role; have strong experience of project management structure and process (based on PRINCE2); have experience working with and reporting to stakeholders up to board level and have experience managing internal and customer teams as well as partners and suppliers.
