This South East-based Primary Care Trust has a requirement for 2 project managers on an interim basis; one to develop a primary care strategy by end of December to meet SHA deadline. The second to specifically support the newly in post Head of Mental Health Commissioning.
Main Responsibilities:

*Work is already underway to hold a series of local stakeholder workshops with external facilitation during October and November to inform the strategy and the project manager would be required to take the findings of the workshops and basically write the strategy in line with SHA guidelines with input from various members of the PC Comissioning team.

*They are about to conclude a procurement for a new primary care based MH service and the project manager will be required to undertake a range of specific duties including contract negotiation with the preferred provider during October and overseeing the transitional process to ensure preferred provider delivers against tight timescale for partial service delivery from January and full implementation from April.

*The Trust is also involved in World Class commissioning assessment and would require support in developing their MH strategic plans and reviewing a range of metrics required by DH to assess the MH in relation to WCC MH Commissioning.
