My client is one of the UK's largest business information providers and they are now looking for a Publishing Director to help turnaround a business unit.

With 14 direct reports, a senior candidate is required with extensive experience in leadership, restructuring, and change management. From a B2B, business information background, you will lead from the front and be prepared to "break some eggs" in order to turn the business unit into a positive profit contribution. You will be prepared to make both personnel changes as well as process changes, so an individual with a commercial and operational understanding would be ideal. The successful Publishing Director must have an editorial background with a strong online/digital/electronic experience, helping to change the division from a predominantly print orientated unit to one that is 60PERCENT electronic by the year 2010. Not only an editorial background, but experience in the Science and/or Physical Science is essential. This is an extremely challenging opportunity and the successful Publishing Director must be:-
