District Sales Manager - Local Government - North/Midlands - Unified Storage Solutions

We have an opportunity to join one of the worlds leading Data Storage Solutions providers who, since their inception, have grown to be a dominant force in this fast growing and dynamic technology sector. Following a period of sustained and strong growth they now have a unique requirement for a quota bearing "player-manager" to initially team-lead a small Local Government sales team. After a qualifying period this role will evolve into a full District Sales Manager position with ambitious medium-term plans to significantly grow this already successful team. As well as a good knowledge of the Data Storage industry we require proven team leading / mentoring experience and the ability to demonstrate extensive success at leading people to over perform against target. In addition to this, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate clear examples of the following: clear leadership and team building qualities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, people development skills, strategic thinking capability, be an effective contributor to the UK management team and be able to develop a successful strategy to make a significant revenue contribution.
