My Client is a leading IT Consultancy and Integration specialist. They currently have a requirement for an experienced SAS Consultant who has experience of working in the financial markets or telecoms
Responsibilities:
Conduct all client work under direction of Project Leader/ Team Leader
Participate in site visits with Technical Account Manager
Business/ Technical Consultancy:
Engage in analysis attend and document requirements meetings with both clients and project lead, suggest and critique design options.
Development write efficient, commented and well laid out SAS programs from a specification or design document or from requirements. Manage own time. Support the project lead with client expectations, change management and risk management.
Experience:
Consultants must have solid commercial exposure/ experience of SAS; experience of building and implementing SAS Data warehouses and/ or using SAS for Analysis.
In addition SAS Consultants should have experience of financial services
Good client facing skills and commercial awareness is also required.
Experience of getting data in and out of SAS
Manipulation of SAS data (including Proc SQL)
Basic understanding of SAS procedures
Be able to code macro procedures and use macro variables
Technical systems experience must involve some of the following:
SAS/ Connect
SAS ETL Studio
SAS/ AF and SCL
SAS/ Intrnet
SAS/ Share
SAS/ Access
Schedulers
SAS Management Console and Metadata Server
All Consultants will be required to travel and work on clients sites therefore mobility and flexibility is essential
