Our client is a modern technology business in the network, IP, IT, and telecoms sectors and is developing rapidly through its very active strategies of both organic growth and acquisition. It’s complex IT and telecoms solutions are business critical to its customers. The Company is now poised for significant growth and has opportunities for new business gains and growth through delivering exceptional service standards to its large and growing SME customer base along the M4/M5 corridor. A high calibre Sales Director is to be appointed to lead this challenge.

The Sales Director will lead the Sales Strategy whilst preserving the values and behaviours that are so important to the founder/MD. You will take ownership of the sales budget and ensure very high levels of customer service. Your focus will be on retaining existing clients and growing the value of these accounts, as well as bringing on new customers as part of the fast growth strategy. As well as being able to develop winning proposals you will have your own sales target for new sales and key account management. The Sales Director will have a good knowledge of the network, IP, IT, and telecoms sectors and a record of successfully selling to businesses employing 20 – 500 people. Some experience of turnarounds and /or culture change will be very useful.
