To deliver the agreed annual sales and for UK/|Europe and develop the market in the Middle East, working within the agreed cost base, including defined staffing and other financial models. The job holder has prime accountability for sales in the region and will need to coordinate closely with the retail, engineering and R&D departments to achieve these goals. Specific Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of the rolling 3 year plan with particular focus on delivering the sales and operating profit for UK/Europe and the Middle East.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process in support of the 3 year plan, with particular emphasis on the sales and operating profit for UK/Europe and the Middle East.
  • Deliver the budgeted sales from both new and existing accounts for UK/Europe and the Middle East, using resources from sales and working cross functionally with retail, engineering and R&D as necessary. Ensure direct budgeted cost targets are met. Work with colleagues to amend cost budgets if the business opportunity requires. Work within defined financial models.

   

  • Identify and manage the pipeline of new business. Deliver the new business sales goals ensuring that the stream of new business is managed highly effectively from end to end.
  • Deliver the sales budget for existing sites, through manage retail prices, promotions, new staffing opportunities and by working with park owners to maximise all profitable opportunities.
  • Develop the strategy to enter the Middle East. Deliver the required new business sales; support accounts as they develop.
  • Negotiate and achieve contracts for new rides and roll out of new products.
  • Renegotiate contracts with existing accounts.
  • Define the marketing materials required worldwide and ensure delivery of those materials in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Ensure all reporting staff are fully trained and motivated
