Our client is a young, growing, London-based Software and Services consultancy. Founded in 2001 they are a Symantec Platinum Partner and are also the only Technical Services Partner that Symantec have in the UK. They doubled their turnover last year and have ambitious growth plans for the next 24 - 36 months. They require an experienced software sales executive to ensure that current and future regional revenue is maximised by selling messaging and archiving solutions, consultancy and managed services to cross-sector accounts (SMB to mid-sized Corporates). The role would be ideally suited to someone who likes the challenge of building new business working autonomously, but as
a key part of a small and dynamic team. Direct touch sales engagement is vital to maximise the market potential for an excellent solutions portfolio and maximise the market penetration in the southern UK region. Reporting directly to the UK Sales Manager. The person will be responsible for maximising sales and business opportunities in two ways: Managing and developing a number of existing customer accounts (30%) and also developing new business in conjunction with targeted marketing campaigns (70%). Ideally you will have a background in software and services sales. A knowledge of e-mail archiving / messaging would be ideal but candidates with other, similar technologies would also be considered; storage management software, systems management etc.
