Sales & Marketing Director

Our client is a market leader in their field specialising in logistics and distribution throughout the UK and Europe. They are highly successful, having established themselves as a truly professional organisation, dedicated to offering high quality, innovative services to a broad portfolio of blue chip clients.

Operating from a network of depots across the UK, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Sales and Marketing Director to assist them in taking the company forward to the next stage of growth.

In addition to full responsibility for growing sales and managing a regional sales team, the role will encompass all aspects of marketing and commercial activity. The business will focus on acquiring and developing corporate accounts, in addition to overseeing the overall sales activity of the network.

This is a board role and will report directly to the MD of the business.

Ideally, candidates will have experience in a senior sales and marketing role either in express distribution or third party logistics within a retail/FMCG environment. However, the ability to work in an entrepreneurial, customer service led business with a strong team ethos is equally important.
