The client is a medium sized subsidiary of a successful PLC group manufacturing a broad range of specialist components for OEM customers. The customer base is global and the product sales cycle includes bespoke designed elements and the negotiation of supply contracts of significant value. The market potential is wide ranging and there are significant opportunities to develop new manufacturing sector clients for the products. There is an existing small internationally spread sales team in place and the key focus of the role is to grow the business and the team, develop new markets and contribute to the strategic discussions at board level. 

An impressive sales and marketing professional is required. A graduate engineer probably mechanical, your early career will ideally include experience in international marketing followed by progression into a sales leadership role for a manufacturer selling designed components on a supply contract basis. You will enjoy personally handling face-to-face negotiations and new business development. This is a superb long-term career opportunity with excellent upside career prospects. You will be required to visit the Northern Head Office probably 4/5 days per month, travel internationally and a home base is therefore totally practical. Fluency in German or Spanish would be a bonus. The benefits package is comprehensive and attractive.
