S.W. Germany / Up to €100k + c. 20 percent bonus + benefits
THE COMPANY
The client company, based in S.W. Germany, is part of an international group (t/o. c.£140m) . With sales of around €20m, it distributes a range of high performance electrical interconnection components to customers across a range of high-tech industries (eg. aerospace, automotive diagnostics, motorsport and medical equipment). It has long-term partnerships with key manufacturers and a very experienced direct-sales operation, with growing annual sales and an excellent customer base in Germany and Switzerland.
THE CANDIDATE The company needs a talented MBA graduate who would initially undertake a commercial role while becoming acquainted with the company and the group. Disciplines reporting in include purchasing, marketing, inside sales and house accounts. Based on success, further promotion is envisaged towards a senior management role.
EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL CRITERIA
Experience within broadly similar sectors (eg. aerospace, motorsports, medical).
Engineering background, followed by MBA/Masters or equivalent.
International experience is preferable. Fluency in English is essential. German national preferred.
Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, able to set high standards and with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Rational and systematic when approaching problems and able to produce inspired solutions based on an objective analysis of the business.
Good commercial understanding, able to contribute to the future strategy and performance of the company.
Ability to develop effective relationships with existing and new customers is essential.
REWARDS
The salary is negotiable. Other benefits include a bonus (up to 20% of base salary based on a combination of company performance and KPIs), executive car. Relocation costs are covered if relevant.
