My client is a UK-based, FTSE 100 retailer with over 2,400 stores in nine countries, and a major foothold across its European subsidiaries. The business divisions of the Company include retail, insurance, telecommunications and technology support. The business have experienced consistent growth and increased revenue over the past 15 years and aims to continue its strength in the marketplace for the future. In 2008 the Company opened over 200 new stores.
THE ROLE: Working as a Senior Auditor, as part of the internal audit team in the UK, you will play a key part in conducting audits of key business processes and controls to contribute to the improvement of the
functioning of risk management control and governance. The breath and depth of the exposure gained in the role will cover a wide range of business sectors, operating at strategic, operational and business process level. You will need to have a proven ability to work as part of a small team to carry out key audits using risk-based audit methodology.
THE PERSON: - Of ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified caliber - Excellent communicator - Strong report writing skills - Ability to convey critical information clearly and succinctly. - A strong team player, able to lead or be part of audit teams - Contribute to the development of the Internal Audit department.
