Our International, high Profile South African based client is seeking an experienced senior engineer to design the core circuit switch (GSM & WCDMA) network architecture for the group against a 3 year roadmap. You will be responsible for developing and evolving an action plan aligned to the business goals and current 2G/3G evolution/migration plans and performing all core circuit switch related implementation, integration, network audits and network optimisation. To be considered for the role you will possess a minimum of year’s industry experience in the Telco cellular core environment, specifically in planning, design, implementation, integration

and optimisation with at least 3 years experience working with next generation networks (3GPP R4/5). You will have solid knowledge and understanding of SS7 signalling, switching systems, packet networks, SIGTRAN, H.323, SIP, VoIP, Softswitch and release 4/5 core networks.
