The market leader of this truly global FMCG business (Mkt cap of approx £22bn) with the European head office in London, is looking to add to their group reporting division. Which has members in both London and their European arm, have primary responsibility for the preparation of the Group`s external financial reporting The role is a key technical role within the Financial Reporting team. Almost every change to IFRS has some impact on the accounting and reporting.

Preparation of specific areas of internal and external financial reporting documents and ownership of the relationship between Financial Reporting and the Global regions (NAM, Europe, International or Asia Pac) Monitoring the accuracy

of reporting received from the international business and communicating errors and improvement opportunities Preparation of accounting papers supporting this the groups accounting treatment on complex accounting issues. Taking ownership for such issues and working with drive and determination to achieve the best outcome for the business. Communicate group accounting policies to the wider finance community through technical accounting update training or equivalent Liaison with the group auditors for the interim, annual and Sarbanes-Oxley audits

Ideally this individual will be ACA qualified with at least 1 years post qualification experience... an opportunity not to be missed!
