As our Senior Strategy & Market Intelligence Manager you will be responsible for the design, development & delivery of knowledge products, leading the way to make BLL an intelligent business & advising on the future strategic direction of knowledge management.
The Role:
Lead the Strategy & Market Intelligence team, setting & managing progress towards business & personal development objectives, whilst ensuring a high level of cooperative working with other groups within BLL & externally as required
Lead the creation of BLLs Annual Delivery Plan on behalf of the Partnerships & MI Director
Create & position business & market information as a key strategic driver for BLL as an organisation
Through specific & general research, data mining & networking intelligence, build & maintain a knowledge base that empowers the organisation to deliver success: this will be achieved by thorough collection, collation, analysis & interpretation of information, thus ensuring BLL colleagues have easily accessible insight in order to deliver their objectives
Work across the organisation to capture knowledge on regional business demographics & community issues, identifying priority requirements, new opportunities & directions for BLLs knowledge products
Develop relationships with key stakeholders who can provide external verification on the quality of intelligence gathering, & who can help to validate priorities for BLLs knowledge product development
Build & execute knowledge product development plans to service the needs of Londons SMEs
Work closely with the Brokerage Solutions Manager & Senior Project Manager to ensure delivery of cross-functional projects & brokerage solutions that meet the priority needs of clients, & that catalyse maximum economic impact
Create a working knowledge culture within the organisation, stimulating knowledge flows & innovation; e.g. knowledge sharing via the intranet, monthly business review workshops at sub-regional offices, & quarterly innovation forums with mixed teams from across the organisation
Ensure BLLs strategies & objectives for D&E are based on thorough market analysis & are clearly defined, & that BLLs culture of knowledge management supports the achievement of these strategies & objectives
Provide effective leadership & people management to the Customer & Market Intelligence team by ensuring that all Key Performance & Development Targets are met via performance monitoring, providing constructive feedback, undertaking regular appraisals/performance management activities, 1:1 meetings, providing input to salary reviews & identifying & delivering individual & team training needs

Proven background in information research, analysis & management
