One of the Worlds Largest IT companies requires a sales Specialist to drive Product Line Sales for a specific Solution Area - PPM/Project and Portfolio Management Software - of our clients Business Technology Optimisation (BTO) portfolio. You will be working within a specified Industry vertical or verticals which roll up to the UK&I budget. You will be targeted on the Product Line sales within your Industry vertical, and will be accountable for their successful growth. Recognised as a leader in your technology area, you'll be changing the way in which companies work, not just selling a product. Engaged in both new business and existing accounts, you'll define and drive effective sales campaign for your Solution Area. Youll work with the account team to build a business plan, and the strategy that underpins
it whilst working directly and continuously with the customer to execute this business plan. Youll be looking to provide customers with the best experience they have ever had from a software organisation whilst holding responsibility for maintaining and growing your sales pipeline and providing accurate and timely forecast information. The ideal candidate for this role will have 7+ years in IT and/or in sales or pre sales consulting experience with a demonstrable track record in new business deals >$750k focusing on Project and Portfolio Management Software with a good knowledge of Application Space (SAS, SAP, Oracle, Siebel, Peoplesoft). ITIL, CMMI and Prince2 also a distinct benefit. You will have probably worked/sold for the likes of Primavera, Planview, SAP, Rational, Mercury/Kintana etc and have ability to sell at both functional and executive levels within organisations.
