The position of Software and Systems Manager is a key role in this technology intensive business and is vital to support the product development programme which seeks to reduce time to market and increase responsiveness thus generating further business growth.

To be successful you should be a high-energy engineer with organisational and interpersonal skills as well as an in-depth understanding of software and systems. You will have a proven track record of delivering and maintaining complex product platform software and be comfortable at all stages of the product cycle. Your motivation skills, drive and self-confidence will have been developed through your experience of man/project management with multi-disciplined teams, ideally in a matrix structure. Qualified to degree or postgraduate level in an engineering/science discipline, you should have a minimum of five years experience in software development using appropriate languages (e.g C#/.NET, VC++), development techniques and processes (e.g. OO, UML, Agile, WPF), together with experience of real-time embedded systems analysis and design.
