An outstanding opportunity for a Space Domain Specialist exists within this leading IT solutions company.

Due to the continued expansion of the Space and Defence business, we are looking to fill a variety of positions with professional and analytically minded people with an interest in Space and Satellite Communications and the desire to make a significant contribution to a highly effective team.

The post holder will be expected to provide space-domain specific expertise in order to produce effective, flexible and innovative IT solutions, taking on responsibilities to include: leading the technical design on projects and bids, supporting pre-sales activities, working collaboratively within the technical design team on larger programmes and working closely with customers on technical studies.

Candidates are likely to demonstrate a strong track record of system design and development with a thorough understanding of the IT market place and current leading edge technologies.

A technical familiarity with one or more of the following specific areas will prove invaluable: Satellite Communications, Satellite Navigations, Spacecraft Flight Dynamics, On Board Software, Space Science, Satellite Control, Complex Algorithms and IP Networks.
