Storage Specialists, IBM Storage Products

My Client is the world's top provider of computer products and services. Among the leaders in almost every market in which it competes, the company makes mainframes and servers, storage systems, and peripherals. Its service arm is the largest in the world, and they are currently looking to supplement the UK operation with experienced Storage Specialists. Working in a dedicated team of storage specialists, you will have responsibility for the design and implementation of various Storage products including Disk, SAN and Tape products, with Disk Virtualisation and Data Migration. The successful candidate

will have demonstrable experience of Storage and products, ideally IBM(DS8000,DS6000/DS4000), and knowledge of basic SAN design and configuration. Proven experience within Storage is essential, preferably within Tivoli Storage Manager. Knowledge of one or more operating systems is also required (MVS, Unix, Linux, Windows), as well as a good understanding of hardware and software installations. The successful candidate will work remotely; so can be located anywhere throughout the UK.
