Their broad portfolio of award winning energy saving lamps and luminaires are sold through a variety of channels including major retailers, distributors and wholesalers and online. With an enviable reputation for innovation supported by a strong new product pipeline, the company is growing rapidly in an expanding market and has significant plans for its future development.

Now is an excellent time to join in this newly created Product and Technical Manager role. Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide the main technical point of contact between the UK Head office and their manufacturing operations in the Far East, working closely with new product development, sales, production and quality assurance departments. The role involves handling queries from customers, providing technical support to the sales team and having responsibility for implementing and maintaining the relevant certification documentation and quality procedures in addition to managing new product introductions. Considerable autonomy and scope will be offered in this highly entrepreneurial environment.

The company is fast paced and requires a well qualified graduate calibre candidate with a technical background. You will have built your career in an electronics / electrical products company, possibly in New Product Development, Technical Support Services, Technical Sales or Quality. You will be looking to further your career in a company with substantial growth plans and must be self-motivated, resourceful, have good relationship-building skills and a strong technical orientation with the drive to make a real contribution to the business.
