My client, a major multinational Telco, urgently requires a highly experienced and expert Product Manager for the MEA region with an emphasis  on the Gulf states to be based in Saudi Arabia. This role demands a transport product expert covering such areas as IP, Microwave, DWDM and SDH/PDH and who understands the African and Middle Eastern telecoms market across both fixed and mobile operations. This role is focused on the MEA region and requires someone who can work seamlessly with colleagues across different countries and who work in specialisations such as sales, project management and services. The main customer base is with telecoms operators who may be single country entities, regional or multinational organisations. Candidates MUST HAVE excellent IP Transport and MW product experience who have been closely involved in regional sales teams and must originate from a vendor or consultancy background. A minimum ten years experience

in the Telco market is necessary for this role. Knowledge of the MEA market is absolutely vital and those with relationships with MEA operators will have an advantage during the selection process. Operating in a matrix organisation and a flat management structure, independence and being a self starter is vital in the desired candidate. The flexibility to travel is also expected in the successful candidate. The main selection criteria will however be based upon ability and potential.
