Our client, an Acute Trust based in the South East seeks to recruit an experienced Theatre manager to provide managerial and professional leadership and be accountable for the delivery of a high quality, patient centred nursing service throughout the theatre complex. The post holder will lead on the setting, monitoring and maintaining high standards of patient care.
Main Responsibilities:
Providing management of the theatre team leading clinical care within the department, taking responsibility for standards of care and effective use of financial and other resources.
Providing managerial guidance, leadership and support to the departmental team within areas of responsibility, ensuring patient care is of a high standard.
Identifing workforce requirements to meet the team and Divisional objectives, ensuring the recruitment, deployment and management of people are in line with Trust processes and systems.
Ensure that strategies are in place to enhance the patients experience in line with local and national agendas e.g. Essence of Care, Clinical Governance.
