Role and Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the CEO you will:
Manage the current portfolio of development projects
Identify new renewable energy development opportunities
Develop effective relationships with fuel suppliers, defining and developing fuel strategies
Identify suitable land for projects, negotiating cost effective solutions
Oversee feasibility studies, managing the bidding and appointment process and all interfaces with the successful consultant
Execute all permitting and consents required for projects
Manage Investment Case financial models
Develop specific strategies for the engineering, procurement and construction phase of projects
Manage the tender preparation process and assessment plus final negotiation with preferred suppliers for the design, build and commissioning phase of the new asset
Relevant Experience:
Suitable candidates will possess the following:
Business development experience in the power or process industry - ideally the renewable energy market
Experience with the management and control of EPC Construction Contracts
Ideally, experience with the permitting and consent process required for renewable energy assets
A proven ability to develop, maintain and bring to fruition a credible pipeline of projects and opportunities
Strong ‘Project Management’ skills, preferably within a multi-discipline complex project environment
Sound commercial skills, including; contract preparation, tendering, negotiation and contract management
Experience in undertaking and managing technical and commercial project due diligence work
Well-rounded financial and IT skills
