My International, South African based client is seeking a Value Added Services (VAS) specialist to join their growing team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for the planning, architecture and implementation of VAS solutions and services . To be considered you will have at least 10 years experience in the Telco sector and specifically the application of IT within the Telco space of which 5 years should have been spent in an internationally recognized operator. You will possess a varied knowledge of telecoms including IP Networks, GSM/UMTS networks, SS7, SIGTRAN, messaging technologies, voicemail systems LBS and Mobile portals. Further knowledge

of a varied range of IT technologies including systems administration (Servers, Operating Systems (UNIX/Linux) Storage Area Networks), Software development (Java/Perl) Oracle databases, SOA principles, systems/business analysis is essential.
