A new and exciting opportunity is now available as a Web Solutions Manager working for a mobile network provider, based in Berkshire. You will be responsible for managing a team of UI developers and designers. The team are responsible for developing screen flows, storyboards and prototypes for mobile and web applications.

This will be a customer facing role which will require interaction with key stakeholders and management of customer satisfaction levels. Other responsibilities as the Web Solutions Manager will include:

*Perform the role of line manager to the permanent members of the team setting objectives, performing reviews and approving timesheets. Develop the team`s competencies in line with the organisation`s strategy and the career expectations of individuals. Recruit and retain staff as required. *Organise the permanent and contract members of the team. Allocate projects and tasks appropriate to skills and availability. Ensure that high levels of utilisation are maintained. Ensure that cover is organised for all key activities carried out by the team. *Actively manage customers, carrying out regular face-to-face meetings,

tracking actions and issues while looking for ways to add value to the relationship and boost customer satisfaction levels. *Deliver projects and tasks on a number of concurrent workstreams, including business as usual activities (such as the introduction of new handsets and browsers), agency/production activities (such as minor changes to intranets and portals) as well as major programmes of work delivered in collaboration with other teams. *Work with team members and colleagues on architecture and design issues. Ensure that all relevant technical options are considered and that the team work to industry ?best-practice? wherever possible. Ensure that the team can be an authority on web and mobile browsers and that there is awareness of new technologies as they emerge.

You will need a high level of competence in the below:

*Web Design and Development in a commercial environment *Line Management of technical staff *Understanding best practise solution architecture for web applications *Competent in Interaction / UI design
