Wireless Broadband Consultant
Location: Wiltshire or Hampshire or Mainland Europe
Salary: £67,000 - £84,000 plus car allowance, bonus and package

A Wireless Broadband Consultant is required to join a Global Telecommunications company to assist with the creation, development and sales of a new generation of Broadband consultative offerings within EMEA.

As the Wireless Broadband Consultant you will be a proven expert in the field of Wireless Broadband communications, with abilities in high/board level conversation and presentation, as well as hands-on technical consulting skills. You will spend a significant portion of your time as lead consultant on wireless broadband consultancy engagements and presales, with a view to growing the consultancy service business and building lasting strategic relationships.

You will need to have a background that includes working within a pre-sales, solution consultant, sales engineer or technical sales environment combined with a strong technical and market knowledge base.

Specific responsibilities will include:
• Defining, developing and establishing world class consultancy services for customers
• Ensure that key frameworks, best practices and practice definition methods are transferred.
• Engaging board level contacts within customers in order to assist in the selling and engagement of consultancy services.
• Managing and leading technical resources in strategic/consulting engagements.
• Bringing your expertise and technical awareness as key consultancy input to customer engagements, shaping and forming strategic decisions for customer investments.

Specific Knowledge/Skills

You will be educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline (eg. Engineering, physics or computing) with a technical background, either in mobile or data communications, you will bring:
• Experience and understanding of a broad range of technologies including: Radio Access Network, Core network, services network, (2G), 3G, LTE and WIMAX and other wireless technologies
• Project management experience with experience of project delivery
• A strong selling and influencing ability.

This is a heavily client facing role and you will need to be comfortable presenting solutions to both technical and Executives. Strong oral, written and presentation skills are essential; in addition you need to be comfortable with travel throughout the EMEA region.
