New role for European Channel Development Manager in innovative storage software, virtualisation, archiving company based in Germany, France or the Netherlands. 

Our client is a rapidly growing software organisation developing innovate solutions around storage, archiving and virtualisation. Led by industry innovators and backed by several major investors they are tipped for great success. Headquartered in the UK they now have operations across Europe, UAE and the US. In order to support their growth they are seeking to appoint a Channel Development Manager to join their senior management team. This is a genuine opportunity to join a future industry leader at a key point in their development.

Working with senior management, the European Channel Manager will be responsible for developing strategic new relationships in the channel with partners, resellers, and distributors to drive revenue for our client's storage software and archiving based solutions and services. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of business development including the identification of opportunities, developing sales and marketing initiatives, sales training of partner staff, and proposition development. You will also assist the engineering team in determining integration plans and delivery of solutions. You will meet with potential partners to promote the organisations products and develop new business opportunities.

   

We are interested in talking to individuals with a proven track record of initiating and developing channel opportunities for software or vertically-related hardware organisations in Storage, Archiving, Data Protection, de-duplication, Virtualisation or related areas such as SAN, NAS, etc. You will have demonstrable experience of C level selling, over target achievement, and business development through the channel for storage solutions. Knowledge of resellers, partners and distributors will be beneficial. Ideally you will also possess a technical background and understanding of technologies in this area with an ability to understand software and hardware architectures as it relates to our clients business.

This organisation is based from offices in the UK; ideally the candidate will be based from France, Germany or the Netherlands and fluent in European languages.

Base salary circa €75k (€150+ uncapped OTE) + Car Allowance + Stock + Benefits.
