An exciting opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join a prestigious central government organisation in a new team with autonomy and scope to develop. The Commercial Accountant is a key position reporting to the IT Finance Director. It is a hands-on business finance role with responsibility for contract related financial analysis, business management information and responsibility for providing advice for the planning process within the Division. - Commercial Business Planning - Pricing schedules and key cost drivers, responsibility for supplier estimating models - Understanding commercial impact of other contracts and working

with procurement, process improvements etc - Financial Control, ie cost management and analysis at all levels - Development of Policies and Processes - Supervision of one finance member. The successful applicant will be qualified with good modelling experience, including estimating models and pricing schedules. Experience of managing an outsourced IT contract will be very beneficial plus experience in SAP / Oracle and the ability to challenge at a senior level.
