Our client is a world leading insurance group. They are now looking to recruit a number of Continuous Improvement Managers throughout the UK.
In this senior position, you will be assigned to a major process and tasked with defining and maintaining the single process view. Your role will be accountable for tangible improvements to the process, taking responsibility for identifying improvement opportunities, providing business ownership to larger projects, and working with the operational excellence teams to facilitate the delivery of improvements.
As the Continuous Improvement Manager you will work with all business areas impacting the process to understand requirements, e.g. sales, regulatory, supply chain – in order to clarify the end to end impacts of any change, whilst ensuring that all process changes are appropriately governed.
You will also:
- Work with the central Continuous Improvement team as business owner to define and implement major improvement projects
- Assume accountability for the delivery of agreed performance improvements
- Raise awareness, understanding and involvement in Continuous Improvement via a targeted, innovative and high impact marketing and communications initiative
- Maintain productive and co- operative relationships with all key stakeholders and cross functional colleagues
To succeed within the role, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience in a similar position, and a working knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean and Kaizen methods / tools and their pragmatic application. In addition to your degree (or equivalent), you should also possess exceptional influencing and change management skills, as well as solid numerical and process analytical skills.
Any experience of working in a Financial Services / Insurance environment, along with relevant product, process and market level knowledge would be an advantage to your application.
