DEFENCE/NUCLEAR SAFETY CONSULTANTS

This highly renowned company offer business and technical consultancy to support complex engineering programmes within the aerospace, defence, nuclear, and public sectors.

A number of systems safety consultants are currently required to perform a significant role within the company and take responsibility for the entire safety process lifecycle.

The post holders remit will revolve around undertaking safety management activities and assessments and liaising with and reporting progress to the line manager and the Safety Capability Manager. Candidates will have

a sound working knowledge of defence and industry safety processes and standards and will have the ability to undertake a wide range of analyses and assessments in a project or programme environment.

It is essential that applicants are familiar with the safety process lifecycle from the preparation of Safety Management Plans and Safety Management Systems, through Preliminary Hazard Analyses to delivering completed safety cases. The ideal candidates will be chartered engineers with a solid electronic/electrical or mechanical engineering degree.
