A security, risk management and service support company that identifies and manages risks is looking to hire a Director of Business Development. This company allows businesses to operate and develop, unhindered and unrestricted. The Director of Business Development will be based in Woking, Surrey.

The Director of Business Development will direct the company sales and marketing plan and perform senior level business development, key account management and contract management for specified areas of the business. This will be both in the UK and overseas. The role will involve managing the Business Development and Information departments and acting as a Company Ambassador in all dealings, both internally and externally. The Director of Business Development will also contribute to the strategic planning of the business as part of the Senior Management Team/Board.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role in the security risk management area
• Strong business development track record
• Firsthand knowledge of commercial security operations in Iraq
• Knowledge of at least one other high risk region is essential
• Served in the British Army or Royal Marines although this is not essential
• Educated to a minimum of degree level
• High level of IT literacy
