Our Client is a fast paced, expanding retailer and understands a successful on-line offering makes a substantial contribution to the bottom line and on that basis they are looking to appoint an eCommerce Commercial Manager. Purpose This is the key role for realisation of their acquisition, conversion and retention KPIs for the next year and onwards.
You will report into the Head of eCommerce and your colleagues will be the eCommerce Team. You will be responsible for setting and driving the eCommerce promotional and marketing strategy with a view to ensuring that Office meets its eCommerce goals.
The successful candidate will manage and develop Office's eCRM strategy with a view to informing the eMarketing tactics whilst also seeking new opportunities for sales growth. Role Overview The role encompasses all of their Web presence; from the main site to sub-brand sites and also other merchant accounts.
You will be responsible for ensuring appropriate promotion of products to the right market, using relevant tactics including: eMail, CPC, Affiliates, SEO and community networks; all will be organised through an eMarketing strategy with defined KPIs agreed with the Head of eCommerce.
You will also be responsible for successful day-to-day implementation of promotional, marketing and eCRM tactics through third-party suppliers and an in-house content team.
All of their online activities are driven by profit and loss forecasting, ROI analysis and Key performance targeting. Responsibilities Creation and update of eMarketing strategy Monitoring of eMarketing and promotional tactics. Liaison with eMarketing service providers. Regular reporting on eMarketing tactics to Head of eCommerce. Regular and on-going monitoring and reporting on KPIs and effectiveness of online promotion and marketing tactics.
Experience Required Experience of managing large budget eMarketing strategies. Working knowledge of the creation of marketing performance reports. Strong experience of meeting KPI and PandL targets. Strong experience of delivering successful CPC, Affiliate and SEO programmes.
Computer skills: MS Office: Excel skills are essential. Word skills are also a must. MS Explorer. MS operating systems.
