European Statutory Compliance Manager sought by international High Street retailer to implement a world class structure and processes for compliance across European countries.

You will manage the GL, manage statutory reporting requirements as per local country GAAP, ensure effective tax compliance, review accounting policies, controls and procedures, and manage tax litigation audits and rulings.

A qualified accountant, you must have solid experience in a tax/statutory compliance or Chief Accountant role with European accountability. You will have a thorough understanding of European tax and statutory requirements whilst French or German language skills (in addition to English) are essential.
