A law firm with offices in central Leeds is searching for an experienced Finance Manager to join and lead the well established finance function. This boutique business operates across a number of countries, and provides specific tailored services to its predominantly corporate clients.

Reporting to the FD in Leeds, you will enjoy a high profile within the business, and an interesting mix between significant contribution to the commercial decision making process, the day to day management of a team of 5 finance professionals and responsibility for complex hedge fund management.

You will provide leadership and direction to part qualified and junior accountants, and be responsible for the timely and accurate production of management and financial accounts. You will also be tasked with reviewing all existing accounting processes, with the autonomy to change and develop working practises as you see fit. You will work closely with the Finance Director to drive the business forward with considerable input to the commercial decision making process, whilst also completing monthly hedging forecasts in different currencies and facilitating the purchase/sale of each currency.

A qualified accountant with at least a couple of years post qualification experience and have held a similar role, you must bring experience, ideas and technical expertise to the role. Candidates with tax planning, foreign exchange or currency management experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
