My client is a rapidly expanding financial services and accountancy consultancy entering their third year of operations. Focused on the particular needs of three business types - consumer finance, high growth organisations and high net worth individuals - they are enjoying a period of sustained growth and wish to capitalise on this success with the appointment of a driven, qualified (ACA ideally) chartered accountant. This is a leadership role taking responsibility for the existing client services and staff management side of the operation allowing planned business expansion initiatives to be put in place to realise a doubling of clients, turnover and profitability by the end of 2009.
It is my client`s expectation that the successful candidate will currently be employed in Financial Services \ Property \ Media and Entertainment \ General consultancy or similarly commercially dynamic sector.
Their business is centred on looking after the varied business needs of their exclusive clientele and advising them in a tailored manner. No one client is the same and a personal, close approach based on trust and commitment is at the core of their service offering.
Qualifications \ Experience
*Ideally an ACA \ possibly a top quality CIMA \ ACCA *Tax experience will be a help but not essential *SME commercial expertise is essential but also some blue chip experience at some stage early in career also helpful *Excellent appreciation of systems and how to make systems work for clients *Good knowledge of process \ controls and the ability to give good sound advice to people on how to run a good commercially aware business *A good man manager
