This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual to join the London HQ of this NASDAQ quoted organisation and join the senior management team as Head of Finance. You will work closely with the UK CEO and report to the executive board in the USA.

You will be responsible for delivering financial and management information and setting strategy for the UK operation. You will also develop performance monitoring and reporting systems ensuring operational IT & financial functions are operating efficiently and provide accurate forecasting and budgeting information. You will make sure that robust business information reports are delivered to drive strategy, analyse supplier agreements to reduce margins and drive savings, look at profitability, and work hands on with the business to increase customer numbers and increase profits.

Being pivotal within finance, you will provide leadership for the team ensuring statutory and management accounting deadlines are met. You will have exposure to UK Tax and VAT accounting and be fully versed with all current accounting rules and regulations. (UK and US GAAP, SOX.) etc.

You will be a fully Qualified ACA, ACCA, ACMA and experience of PeopleSoft would be useful but not essential.

There may be Ad hoc travel to the USA (short visits) for meetings and conferences.
