Skills and Experience
- Qualified with at least five years experience gained within the service sector, and with experience of handling and prioritising a mix of regular and ad-hoc jobs
- Proven skills in implementing performance improvement practices
- High technical skills
- Direct experience of consolidation and completing statutory report and accounts and dealing with auditors over technical issues and audit management points
- Tax Compliance and working with external auditors
- Experience in operating and maintaining strict reporting deadlines, together with judicious management of cash and working capital
- Experience of motivating and leading a small finance team
- Ideally working within a venture capital backed business
Personal Qualities
- Strong commercial skills with the ability to communicate effectively with and strongly influence subsidiary functions
- Personal stature and inter personal skills to deal with all levels
- Good man management ability and a persuasive and constructive approach in a team environment
