My client is well established Food Manufacturing and Distribution organisation.They are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to work on their large complex manufacturing and distribution site in Birmingham.This role is to support the Site Manufacturing and Site Distribution Managers by providing accurate and timely financial information to enable robust decision making.

Key Accountabilities: -Build an effective team of financial analysts and admin staff, coaching and developing them to meet KPI`s -To act as Business Partner to the SMM and SDM'S -Ensure high quality and timely reporting on all financial data and in depth commentary on variance analysis, providing review of site performance -Reconciliation of balance sheets at site level on monthly basis -Liaising closely with SMM and SDM on preparation

of the Budgets and Forecasts. -Providing challenge to the numbers to ensure efficiency of the business and increased profitability -To review decision making on capital investments with regard to modelling the financials on initial outlay and subsequent post-project reviews -Liaison with Shared Service Centre on improvement of PO/Invoicing processes at site level

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant and have at least 3 years experience in a FMCG.Experience of Activity Based Costing is highly desirable. Must have a high degree of commerciality and outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence non financial managers.
