My client is a world leading Food / FMCG manufacturer. This organisation is a leading supplier of world-class brands to major retailers in the UK. Alongside their fully automated 'state of the art' manufacturing facilities and product portfolio, they hold people at the core of their business and future success.

Following expansion at their highly-automated, fast-paced and modern manufacturing facility, they seek to recruit an Operations Manager. This role is critical to the success of this site. You will have full operational responsibility for site performance. You will lead and motivate a strong manufacturing team, drive through systems, cultural and behavioural change and work towards World Class manufacturing standards.

To apply you should be able to demonstrate a background in Production, Manufacturing or Operations Management. You may be educated to HNC/HND or Degree level in Production Management or related discipline. Applications are welcomed from candidates with experience of any fast paced chilled multi component manufacturing environment such as sandwiches, ready meals etc.

Above all else you must be a charismatic and passionate leader with the people management skills to inspire and motivate your team. You must be ambitious and thrive in a pressurised, target-driven and fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be expected to be able to demonstrate a strong track record of achievement in your past roles, with an emphasis on experience in improving productivity and efficiency KPIs, driving through continuous improvements and working towards World Class manufacturing standards.
