My client is a leading Manufacturer and Distributor based in the UK with a European presence. They have 4 UK sites and employee over 1000 employees.

They are looking for a Group Chief Engineer, who will report directly into the Site Operations Manager. Your duties will include: Responsible for all engineering aspects of the plant, Machinery, equipment and buildings, in particular with regards to reliability, predictability, safety and statutory requirements Create, through the leadership and development of all personnel within the engineering function, teams focused on performance delivering ongoing continuous improvement that meets the needs of the business Develop effective two way communication processes, so that direction and expectations are clear, and that contribution from all levels is maximised Maintain required manning levels, minimising labour turnover and ensuring the implementation of effective recruitment and engagement processes Become an effective mentor and catalyst to the team, ensuring through team work, enhanced problem solving skills, and focused managing

processes that problems are quickly solved in an enduring manner You will have a professional engineering qualification, and be a logical thinker. You will have strong management skills and demonstrate excellent communication skills across the business.
