The role of Group Financial Controller will report to the Chief Operating Officer and has full responsibility for all aspects of financial management and control.

The Role

• Hands on role managing all aspects of finance on a day to day basis, enabling and supporting significant growth plans whilst keeping a close eye on costs;
• Provide business insight and value added analysis to facilitate effective decision making, challenging decisions and driving best practice;
• Develop, implement and maintain robust financial and management information systems. Delivering effective, accurate and timely reporting.

The Candidate

• Graduate calibre and a qualified accountant preferably with experience in retailing and/or consumer related sectors, in an environment of international growth;
• Commercially orientated, with the ability to both act strategically and think entrepreneurially with the ability to focus on the detail;
• Strong team player, comfortable managing and motivating a small team. An effective communicator who is energetic, flexible and creative.
