The Role A truly international role responsible for overseeing global bids worth between 10m-100,000 euros, superb man management skills are required plus the motivation, initiative and drive to make this role your own, develop and manage the team effectively as well as contribute to the strategic input of the business including promoting this business function to other departments including sales and marketing and product management.
Working closely with the Sales, Engineering and Technical Support staff you and your team will play a major role in ensuring the successful and profitable growth of the business by ensuring that all formal bids and responses to RFQs and ITTs are produced to the highest professional standards as well as represent truly compelling business propositions, address the customer`s requirements, positively promote the company`s product and service offerings and are technically and commercially accurate. The Requirement You must be a solid bid professional, as well as a persuasive leader and man-manager with broad commercial and technical awareness, you will be attracted by the opportunity to develop your career at managerial level within a rapidly expanding global company. You should be of graduate calibre with 5+ years bid management experience including having personally led high value complex bids ideally within a high technology sector, ideally hardware products. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written), plus the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines are essential attributes.
